Which do we like better?

A: Just base colour with ambient occlusion - more plasticky

 

Or B: Full Ink and paint + AO?

Probably best viewed at full size as the differences are quite subtle (but important!)

Storyboards done

Rigging done. Animating! Or blocking really - just using my models. Doesn't take long to render, looks better than plain blocking.

Lined or not? Unlined looks cleaner.

Speaking of rigging

The most boring part - TD work.

5 of 6 done though - 1 more to go!

Update - March

Rigging has started - 16 blends for a simple facial lip sync rig x 6 models =  fun fun fun. Osipa is a legend though. Then some bones and decent controllers. Let's hope there's time left over this month to finish my lit review.

Storyboard time too.

I'm thinking of food wrestling - might mean new textures or the addition of masks?

The semester is starting again soon - watch this space for a better transmission soon.

Experiment writeups for the schools are 90% there. Literature review, sadly, has a lot of work ahead of it before it's reabadle (or readable).
